Marisa Fior Co-Facilitator
Marisa brings a deeply supportive, attentive, and heart-centred presence to the Ubud Family Experience Retreat-Camps. With over 20 years of personal study, professional training, and hands-on therapeutic practice, she offers families an approach that is both evidence-based and grounded in genuine compassion.

Her work is shaped by a rich blend of healing modalities—Reiki, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Meditation, CBT, Embodied Focusing, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy—combined with the lived wisdom of her own parenting journey. Originally from Alice Springs and now based in Bali for more than a decade, Marisa has dedicated her life to supporting women, children, and families to reconnect, rebuild trust, and find harmony again.

As a former teacher and a mother of two, she understands first-hand how challenging family dynamics can become, especially when generational patterns or inner-child wounds begin to surface. Her own experience navigating her daughter’s emotional struggles led her to search for therapeutic support designed specifically for children—something she found to be rare. Through extensive research, practice, and refinement, Marisa developed highly effective interventions that helped repair the bond with her child. Those outcomes became the foundation of the programmes she now shares with families from all over the world.

At the retreat-camps, Marisa is known for her calm, intuitive presence and her ability to make families feel genuinely seen and supported. Parents consistently remark on how deeply she listens, how safe she makes their children feel, and how practical, grounded, and transformative her guidance is. Whether she is facilitating a session, offering one-on-one support, or simply holding space, Marisa brings a warmth that invites families to soften, reconnect, and move through challenges with confidence.

Marisa’s ongoing vision is to create a holistic health and wellbeing centre for families in Bali and beyond—an accessible, nurturing space dedicated to healing, growth, and strengthening the parent-child bond. She remains fully committed to continuous learning and to serving families with humility, integrity, and heart.
